RENO — The Arbors Memory Care and Moments of Memory will host the “Art From The Hearts of Alzheimer’s Artists” reception and auction Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. The Artown event is free and open to the public and will feature more than 60 new pieces of art, with music by Sandi TenBoer, a raffle, wine and appetizers.

Moments of Memory is a nonprofit program of visual art expression, developed for those living with Alzheimer’s and related dementias. The Arbors Memory Care facility is in Sparks and specializes in the care of people with Alzheimer’s and memory-related illnesses. All of the artwork is professionally framed by FastFrame of Reno.

Moments of Memory’s “Art from the Hearts of Alzheimer’s Artists” was created to show the power of art and the positive attributes it brings to those living with Alzheimer’s and other related dementias.

The Arbors Memory Care is located at 2121 E. Prater Way just east of Vista Boulevard.
