Secret Witness appoints new board members

RENO — Secret Witness recently announced the appointment of the following individuals to its board of directors:

Don Berman — Berman is a local businessman who has lived in Reno for 40 years.  Berman owns Aviation Ground School and currently serves on the Reno-Tahoe International Airport Authority’s Noise Advisory Panel.

Jesse Gutierrez — Gutierrez serves the Nevada Cancer Institute as its community education coordinator and is the former director of Nevada Hispanic Services.

Mike Lee — Lee is the owner and operator of Lee Brothers Automotive Sales and Leasing in Reno.

Adam Mayberry — Mayberry is the community relations manager for the city of Sparks, and previously worked for U.S. Congressman Jon C. Porter and the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority.

“We are pleased to have the service of these high-caliber individuals on the board of Secret Witness to help administer the affairs of our nonprofit organization,” chairwoman Katherine Loudon said.  “Secret Witness is a volunteer organization, and has no payroll of any kind.”

Since its inception more than 30 years ago, Secret Witness has been a highly beneficial crime-fighting organization, helping to solve more than 1,800 crimes in the area.  Witnesses to crime are encouraged to call 322-4900. Information given to Secret Witness is anonymous.
