Sparks police received a domestic battery report from the 2000 block of 11th Street on May 31 at about 8:30 p.m. The officers who responded learned that Theall got into a verbal argument with his girlfriend at the residence. The argument escalated when Theall struck the victim in the face and body with his fists, threatened to kill her and poison their three young children.
Theall then retrieved a knife from the kitchen, forced the victim to undress and sexually assaulted her. He continued threatening to kill the victim while forcefully holding his hand over the victim’s mouth and nose so she could not breathe, police said. Theall fled the scene prior to the police arriving at the apartment.
Sparks policed detectives have been investigating the case and have been unable to locate Theall. Detectives say they currently have cause to arrest Theall for sexual assault, assault with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment, felony domestic battery, child endangerment and violation of an extended protection order.
“We know that he is still in town,” said Sparks Detective John Franz, who is working on the case.
Police say Theall is aware he is being sought and has a history of obstructing.
Anyone information regarding this case or the whereabouts of Theall is asked to call Detective Clinte Bellamy at 353-2225, the Sparks Police Department at 353-2231 or Secret Witness at 322-4900.
