Governor — Democrats: The Associated Press has called the race for Rory Reid, son of Sen. Harry Reid, who is also seeking re-election.

Lt. Governor — Republican: The Associated Press has called the race for the incumbent, Brian Krolicki.

Lt. Governor — Democrat: The Associated Press has called the race for Reno City Councilwoman Jessica Sferraza.

U.S. House District 3 — Republican: The Associated Press has called the race for Joe Heck.

U.S. Senate — Democrat: Incumbent Harry Reid leads all competitors with 78 percent of the vote.

State Senate, Washoe District 1: Outgoing Sparks City Councilman Phil Salerno had 61 percent of the vote against Tom Koziol's 39 percent.

State Senate, Washoe District 2: County Commissioner Bob Larkin was trailing Don Gustavson 58 to 41 percent.

Reno mayor: Incumbent Bob Cashell led at press time with 77 percent of the vote. In second place was Chad Dehne with 10 percent.

Reno City Council Ward 2: Incumbent Sharon Zadra was in the lead with 52 percent of the vote with Brandi Anderson in the second spot with 23 percent.

Washoe County District Attorney: Incumbent Dick Gammick led with 70 percent of the vote. Challenger Ken Stover received the other 30 percent.

Justice of the Peace, Reno-Verdi Dept. 4: Scott Pearson was the top vote getter out of a field of four candidates with 45 percent of the vote.

Numbers reported on all races not called by the Associated Press were current as of 10:30 p.m.
