SPARKS — Local races that will be whittled down after today include the race for mayor, City Council Ward 2 representative, Reno mayor and City Council Wards 2 and 4 and several statewide representative posts. Statements from the Sparks candidates are online at www.dailysparkstribune.com.

Voters can find their polling places for today’s primary election by looking on their sample ballot and finding their precinct number.  Each location is listed below with the precinct numbers following.  Those who do not have a sample ballot can obtain one by visiting http://www.co.washoe.nv.us/voters/ and clicking on “Am I a Registered Voter?”

The polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
