Pine Middle School abduction story recanted

RENO — Following a report made Friday morning, Washoe County School District Police investigated the possible abduction of a Pine Middle School student on Monday. During that investigation, the student in question recanted her story, saying the incident did not happen.

School police say the case has been closed and no other actions are planned.
