Adventure Day for people with disabilities

SPARKS –– People with disabilities and their loved ones are invited to explore summertime sports at Mark Wellman’s Adventure Day at the Sparks Marina Park. The free event takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 13.

Hand-cycling, kayaking, sailing and adapted rock climbing will be some of the sports available that day. People of all ages and ability levels are welcome to come out and try something new in a safe, fun environment.

Participants are required to have a guardian sign a release form to take part.
