RENO — Now through 7, the Nevada Humane Society will celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a “Cinco de Meow” adoption promotion.

Celebrate this special season by adopting a pet at a great price. Adult cats (4 months and older) may be adopted for $15 and adult dogs (4 months and older, excluding specially priced dogs) may be adopted for $40. All dogs and cats are spayed and neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before being adopted. These services would normally cost over $200.

The shelter is located at 2825 Longley Lane in Reno and is open Sunday through Friday from 11 a.m. until 6:30 pm and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 6:30 pm. For more information, call 856-2000 or visit www.nevadahumanesociety.org. Consider adopting a pet today and help us make Washoe County one of the safest communities for homeless pets.
