RENO –– The Regional Sex Offender Notification Unit is advising the general public of updated information related to one high-risk (Tier 3) sex offender.

James D. Brent, 44, has recently registered with the Reno Police Department as residing in the 7900 block of North Virginia Street and is not currently employed.

Brent has been assessed as high risk by the State of Nevada Sex Offender Registry. He is currently in compliance with all state sex offender registration requirements and is not wanted by law enforcement. Brent is not being supervised by Nevada Parole & Probation.
