RENO — On Saturday at approximately 1 a.m., an officer of the Reno Police Department saw two subjects outside of the AT&T Wireless Store at 4985 Kietzke Lane, Suit A.

At the same time, an alarm from that business was reported and both suspects began to flee. The officer chased the suspect to the northeast area where he was confronted. The suspect refused to comply with the officer’s commands and again attempted to flee. The officer deployed a taser which allowed him to take the suspect into custody without injury.

The second suspect was located a short distance away and was also taken into custody without injury.Their vehicle was found to be parked on the freeway not far from the location of the burglary.

Suspects were found to be in possession of property from the business. They were charged with burglary, grand larceny and obstructing an officer. It is unknown if these suspects are related to prior burglaries occurring at AT&Ts in the area.

The investigation is ongoing.
