SPARKS – Washoe County Library is proud to present a new series of English language learning sessions beginning Feb. 3. Informal conversation sessions will be held every Wednesday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Sparks Library, 1125 12th St.

Conversation Corner is open to all and no advance sign-ups are required. Participants of the group will practice speaking English around various scenarios that the average person encounters every day in casual conversation. The topics will range from grocery shopping, doctor visits, sports, American holidays to many more.

These practice classes are ideal for the non-native English speaker who has at least a little English, but is motivated to improve English skills. For further information, call Andrea Tavener at 829-7323.
