According to Detective Mike Magee, 18-year-old Robert Schneuringer and 24-year-old Shane Alexander were arrested on felony graffiti and conspiracy charges after they were detained by officers at 4:51 a.m. Friday. The pair had spray paint with them at the time they were contacted by police, Magee said, and they are suspected of spray painting graffiti vandalism from Virginia Street and Commercial Way all the way to Virginia and Vassar streets and more than 70 business locations have been identified as victims.
Late Thursday evening, Reno Police also arrested 18-year-old Eduardo Sanchez of Reno on gross misdemeanor graffiti charges after a patrol officer saw him spray painting a building in the rear of 900 E. Fourth St.
Sanchez was booked into the Washoe County Jail on $3,460 bail including charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. According to Magee, police officers located 18 spray paint can tips and a can of spray paint in the suspect’s vehicle.
