The new service on a 136-seat Boeing 737 begins in May 2010 and tickets went on sale Thursday. It brings the number of non-stop flights between Reno and Portland to three each day. It also brings the total number of Southwest daily departures at Reno-Tahoe International to 35.
“We have been working tirelessly to build our air service during these tough economic times and the hard work is paying off for our airport and community,” said Krys Bart, president/CEO of Reno-Tahoe International Airport. “It is now up to our region to fill these Southwest seats so we can maintain our growing level of service.”
