Apply to serve on Citizens Advisory Committee

SPARKS — Residents can apply through Monday to become members of the Sparks Citizens Advisory Committee (SCAC), offering input and opinions directly to members of the City Council.

Ten committee seats and five alternate seats are open to all residents, including high school students. After reviewing the applications, each member of the Sparks City Council will appoint two citizens from his or her ward for two-year terms.

To apply online, go to www.cityofsparks.us or fill out a Community Service Application at the City Clerk’s Office at Sparks City Hall, 431 Prater Way. Call 353-7894 for further details.
