RENO – Organizations that oppose the use of University of Nevada, Reno resources to host the founder of an extreme anti-immigration group will hold an alternative “Dialogue on Immigration” on Thursday.  The event will feature speakers, poetry and music. The “Dialogue on Immigration” is sponsored by groups including the Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada and the UNR Latino Research Center Student Advisory Board that object to the use of university resources to bring to campus Jim Gilchrist, founder of the “Minutemen” groups.

The event will be held in room 2030 of the William Raggio Education Building on the UNR campus from 6 to 9 p.m.
