RENO, Nev. (AP) — The Reno Arch is going green.

City officials will hold a ceremony Tuesday to mark the replacement of the downtown landmark's incandescent bulbs with more energy efficient LED bulbs.

The arch, which proclaims Reno as "The Biggest Little City in the World," has 2,076 incandescent bulbs.

Mayor Bob Cashell and state Office of Energy Director Jim Groth are among those who will preside over the ceremony that's scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The project is part of the city's $20 million energy efficiency and renewable energy initiative.
