Air Force Airman Kyle A. Wisecarver recently graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

Wisecarver completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Wisecarver is the son of Tara Nakamura of Sparks. He is also a 2009 graduate of Damonte Ranch High School.
