Renown postpones flu clinics

Each year, Renown Health provides seasonal flu shots to the community. Due to unpredictable delivery of the vaccine nationwide, Renown officials have announced that the following seasonal flu shot events will be postponed:



Tuesday, November 3

9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Reno Town Mall on S. Virginia & Peckham

Friday, November 6

3 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Raley's on Robb Drive

Friday, November 6

3 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Raley's on North McCarran & Pyramid

Saturday, November 7

9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Raley's on North McCarran & Pyramid

Saturday, November 7

9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Raley's on Robb Drive

Sunday, November 8

9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Renown officials said in a release that they anticipate moving forward with all other currently scheduled seasonal flu shot events. However, they added that Renown is experiencing a fluctuation in the timing of when they receive the vaccine.



Community members are encouraged to visit www.renown.org/flu or call 982-5757 for up-to-date information about seasonal flu shot events. Renown recommends people planning to attend a seasonal flu shot event check 24-hours in advance to receive the most up-to-date information.
