Automobile Museum celebrates 20th anniversary with free admission

RENO — The National Automobile Museum, The Harrah Collection, is celebrating its 20th anniversary Thursday and everybody gets in free, all day.

From 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, enjoy the award-winning museum, all the special exhibits, two films in the theater and have a piece of cake to celebrate the milestone.

Costumed historic characters will bring history to life in galleries throughout the museum during the anniversary celebration.

Two special exhibits are included in the anniversary celebration free admission day. These include:

Movie Cars: Cinematic Stars on Wheels featuring the actual cars that appeared in popular films.

On The Road with Alice Ramsey: Detailing the adventures of the spunky young woman who was the first female to drive across the United States.
