You and your pet can march off some of your Thanksgiving dinner at 11 a.m. on Nov. 28 in downtown Reno’s inaugural “Holidazzle” holiday parade.

You’d expect marching bands in a holiday parade, and bands will be there providing enthusiastic music for one and all, but what’s new is the pet procession.

The parade will make a square, winding through downtown Reno along First and Sierra streets, California and Arlington avenues.

To strut your stuff or let your pet strut theirs, download a participant form at www.roadshowsreno.com or call 329-7469.

A portion of sponsor support and commercial parade entry fees will go to the Holland Project Reno, a nonprofit that benefits young people through art and music initiatives.
