Ever sat through a production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and wondered, “What in the world was Shakespeare thinking?” The answer is here in the form of The Booth Street Players production of “Loves Labours Wonne” written by Don Nigro.

The show runs at the Reno High School theater from Nov. 3 through Nov. 7. All shows are at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $8 in advance and can be purchased by contacting bookkeeper Jeannine Mortensen at 333-5050 and for $10 at the door.

Get ready for a sneak peek into the mind of the genius on Stratford as he juggles past and present while being pulled towards an inevitable future. Witness Shakespeare’s last night at the Rose Theatre and follow him as he tries to make sense of his “hour on the stage.”

The actors and crew are all Reno High School Students. They work in every aspect of the production, from lighting to sound, set-building to program design. Many long hours have been dedicated to creating a special and unique theater experience. Close attention to detail has been used to re-create the feel of the era, including an ensemble chorus performing songs of the time.
