Jamsa, 45, was an employee of Minuteman Aerial Application Inc., based out of Missoula, Mont., and was an employee of the company working a contract out of the BLM’s McDermitt SEAT base. He had worked for Minuteman for four years as a pilot and mechanic. A resident of Missoula, Jamsa is survived by a wife and four children.
The Hoyt Fire is located about 125 miles northeast of Reno and has now burned more than 2,000 acres. The crash and the source of the fire are under investigation. For more information about the fire visit www.sierrafront.net.
