The Spanish Springs 12-year-old Cal Ripken All-Stars got ready for this week's Pacific Southwest Regional tournament by scrimmaging the representative from Guam Monday night at Eagle Canyon Sports Complex in Spanish Springs.

Spanish Springs opens regional play Thursday at 11 a.m. in Fallon. It will play three round-robin games before a double-elimination bracket starts Sunday.

Game times for Friday and Saturday's games are 4 and 2 p.m. respectively. The top three teams advance out of pool play.
