A fire broke out Thursday afternoon at Ebara International on Solomon Circle. The fire, which caused no injuries, was believed to be started by grinding operations at the business which manufactures industrial-grade pumps. However, the cause is still under investigation.

Ebara representatives did not have an estimate on damages as of press time and said that they were waiting for insurance claims adjusters to make the final decision.

According to Sparks Fire Department spokesman Tom Garrison, no one was injured in the fire.

Nineteen personnel responded, including a Battalion Chief, three structure engines, one truck company, two safety officers, and a fire investigator.
