RENO, Nev. (AP) — Two students at Damonte Ranch High School in Reno have been arrested for suspicion of making bomb threats against the school.

Both students face felony charges. One older than 18 years old is being held in the Washoe County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.

School district spokesman Ron Cooney says Washoe County School Police made the arrests on Monday after five different bomb threats had been made at the school from May 21 through May 29. One of the threats forced a brief evacuation of the school.

Cooney says the case remains under investigation and he expects more arrests.

Police Lt. Dale Richardson says they take any threats against students or staff extremely seriously.
