Tap dance class to be held at Larry Johnson center in Sparks

Everyone 12 years and older can take part in an energizing tap dance class offered through the Sparks Parks and Recreation Department. Designed for all experience levels, this course includes warm-ups, tap step instruction/choreography and cool-down stretching. Tap shoes are not required.

The class is held from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. on Thursdays at the Larry D. Johnson Community Center, 1200 12th St. The next four-week session begins on May 7. Cost is $42 ($35 for Sparks residents). Register online at www.sparksrec.com or call 353-2376.
