Anderson, shown in the adjacent photos serving and celebrating, is a freshman on the Pack team that posted a 22-25, 26-24, 25-23, 20-25 victory at Nevada's Virginia street gym.
Anderson gave away a team-high 26 assists in the victory, that also brought the Wolf Pack's 29-match MWC losing streak to an end.
After dropping Game 1, Anderson propelled Nevada to a quick 6-0 start in Game 2 as she served the initial run of points and got the local team off to the strong start it needed to win Game 2 and even the match.
Anderson was a two-time DI North Region player of the year during her prep career at Spanish Springs. Her initial plan was to red-shirt the 2013 fall campaign, but at midseason she earned a starting job and has been competing ever since.
