RENO — With the aid of Reno Harley Davidson, the East Meets West Sierra Fundraiser Ride has been organized to help raise funds for 3-year-old Tanner Bertauche. Tanner has been diagnosed with a very rare disease, Juvenile Xanthogranuloma, and is currently undergoing intense chemotherapy at Oakland Children’s Hospital. The purpose of this fundraiser ride is to help raise money for The Tanner Bertauche Medical Fund. All donations and contributions will go towards helping the Bertauche family with costly medical expenses.

This ride is for all motorcycles and cars.

Nevada riders (East Sierra) will leave from the Reno Harley Davidson at 2295 Market St. at 10 a.m. on April 25 (check-in begins at 9 a.m.). California riders (West Sierra) will depart from El Dorado Hills Town Center at 11:45 a.m. and take Highway 50 to meet up with Nevada riders at High Hill Ranch, Apple Hill.

The event includes live music, a barbecue hot dog lunch, raffle and an auction with many great items such as Mt. Rose ski passes, wine baskets, a two-night stay and dinner at the Peppermill, tickets to Wild Island water park and Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, and much more. The cost is $25 a person or $40 for couples.

For more information, contact Karen Adamovich at radamovich@sbcglobal.net or call Reno Harley Davidson at 329-2913, ask for Marci, or just show up on April 25 at 9 a.m.
