Anti-bullying poker ride June 1

RENO — Law enforcement motorcycle club Blue Knights, Nevada II have teamed with non-profit organization Drew's Voice to help raise awareness for bullying. The ride will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. June 1.

The ride begins at the Boys and Girls Club of Northern Nevada, 1870 Russell Way in Carson City, and concludes at Eldorado Hotel and Casino Bubinga Lounge, located at 345 N. Virginia St. in Reno. Registration begins at 7 a.m. and kickstands up at 10:30.

Stops along the ride route include the Carson Valley Inn, Tombstone Bar in Genoa, Whiskey Tavern and Pinocchio's in Reno. There will be prizes for the best and worst poker hand, a 50/50 raffle, prizes, live DJ, guest speakers, and merchandise sales.

Drew's Voice, a non-profit anti-bullying awareness and prevention organization, was started by a SWAT member whose son took his own life due to bullying. For more information about Drew's Voice, visit www.drewsvoice.org.
