Between 5 and 8:30 this morning, troopers from the Nevada Highway Patrol investigated 18 motor vehicle crashes. Eleven of these happened in the Reno-Sparks area while the other seven took place in Carson and Douglas counties. Only three accidents involved injuries while the other 15 were property damage only. Troopers said that speed too fast for conditions was the leading contributing factor in crash activity this morning.
