RENO — The Community Foundation of Western Nevada, in partnership with KNPB and other leading non-profits, is offering eight weeks of free workshops to teach locals about money, retirement planning and their estate. The “It’s Your Estate” and “It’s Your Money” series are designed to be beneficial to participants if they attend one workshop or the whole series.

Workshops are held at various times on Tuesdays and Wednesdays through May 22 at three locations; United Way, Northwest Reno Library and UNR Redfield Campus. Today’s workshop “Living Wills and Advanced Health Care Directives” will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at United Way, located at 639 Isbell Road, #460, in Reno.

No selling is done, no solicitations are made, and the names of attendees are not shared with sponsors or presenters. There is no cost or obligation to attend any of these workshops. Classes are taught by experts in the field who volunteer their time.
