NNMG cardiologist receives board certification

RENO — Thomas Truong, DO, recently received his board certification in interventional cardiology.

Dr. Thomas Truong is an interventional cardiologist and a native of Sparks. After earning his bachelor of science at UNR, Dr. Truong went to medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and completed his residency at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. Dr. Truong completed fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology at Oklahoma St. and Largo Medical Center in Largo, Florida. Dr. Truong is board certified in cardiology, interventional cardiology and internal medicine.

Dr. Truong is located on the Northern Nevada Medical Center campus at Sparks Medical Office Building at 2385 E. Prater Way, Suite 205. He is accepting new patients and on most of the area’s health plans including Medicare. To schedule an appointment, call 352-5300.
