The Nevada Humane Society invites the public to help explore solutions to the animal abandonment problem at their next Community Advisory Meeting on March 4, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Education Room of the Humane Society's facility at 2825 Longley Lane, Reno.

This meeting is one of the ongoing monthly community advisory meetings recently initiated by the Humane Society.

"Any organization benefits from input from the members of its community," Diane Blankenburg, the community programs director, said. "We have already received valuable feedback and ideas from the first three meetings and look forward to addressing this specific and critical problem of pet abandonment. Together we can truly make a difference."
