INCLINE VILLAGE — More than 90 people attended the Tahoe Rim Trail Association’s 31st Annual Meeting on Oct. 19 at the DW Reynold’s Non-Profit Center in Incline Village. Trail enthusiasts, TRTA members, volunteers, community partners and businesses gathered together for an evening of fellowship and celebration of the organization’s 2012 accomplishments and milestones. Local businesses from around the Reno-Tahoe area contributed a plethora of items to the silent auction which successfully raised crucial funds to ensure the trail remains open and accessible for all users. The event was made possible through the generous sponsorship from CA Technologies and Southern Wine & Spirits.

Tahoe Rim Trail Association Executive Director, Mary Bennington honored distinguished award recipients with a heartfelt appreciation for their commitment to the TRTA and its mission.

The evening concluded with Board President, John Singlaub’s enthused “State of the Trail” address which highlighted the 2012 accomplishments both on and off the trail in the areas of trail building, maintenance, public outreach, volunteer involvement, youth programming and guided public hikes. Attendees and friends are welcome to enjoy an intimate look at the evening through Rob Retting Photography.
