The Clark County coroner's office reported Tuesday that Thomas Lars Domagala (doh-mah-GAHL'-ah) died of a gunshot to the head.
Authorities haven't identified the deputy marshal involved in the Sept. 19 shooting.
He was part of a regional fugitive apprehension task force that chased a 2008 Toyota Camry with Domagala and two women inside for several blocks.
Police say Domagala was ran from the car with a gun in his hand when he was confronted and shot by the deputy marshal near the busy Martin Luther King Boulevard and Cheyenne Avenue crossroads.
