RENO — Mike Cox, CEO of Allied Washoe Petroleum has been helping Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation (NNCCF) for years. He approached the nonprofit organization after hearing what they did for the community and wanted to become involved.

On Wednesday, Allied Washoe held a Customer Appreciation BBQ with a raffle to benefit Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation.

Allied Washoe is a locally owned petroleum distribution company specializing in commercial fleet fueling services, bulk fuel supply, and comprehensive lubricant solutions for industrial, commercial and agricultural use. They have been serving the greater Nevada and Northern California area since 1900.

The fun continues throughout the weekend on Aug. 25 -26 at the Wild West Motorsports Park for The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series in conjunction with Allied Washoe. This brand new facility, located off of Exit 23 - Interstate 80 just east of Reno, features a mile long short course off road track built into the side of a mountain complete with obstacles and mega jumps.
