Hosted by Reno-Tahoe Young Professionals Network and in partnership with the Boys and Girls Club, the Child and Family Health & Safety Fair is an educational and fun event for children and their families. The goal of the annual event is to give children the opportunity to learn how to stay safe and healthy through fun, interactive displays and performances. Events include demonstrations, health screenings, identification cards, police dog performances and the opportunity to climb aboard a real fire truck.
Participants include Red Cross, New York Life, The Nevada Humane Society, Nevada Prevention Resource Center, The Children’s Cabinet, REMSA, SAPTA and more.
