The Reno Bighorns are holding a pre-tryout dance workshop on Sunday, Aug. 19 for those interested in auditioning for the dance team this season. The workshop will take place at FIT Reno, located at 5301 Longley Lane from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m and costs $50, waiving the regular tryout fee.

The workshop, which will be run by Lady Bighorns Director Brie Edmunds, will act as a mock audition. The team encourages anyone who plans on trying out to take part in the workshop. The choreography style that will be taught at auditions will be featured in the pre-tryout. Participants are encouraged to come with full performance hair and make-up as well as an audition outfit in order to get feedback from Edmunds on both appearance and performance.

Tryouts for the Lady Bighorns will be held on Sunday, Sept. 9 with registration starting at 9 a.m. and tryouts beginning at 10 a.m. The cost for tryouts is $35 before Sept. 5, and $45 after.
