Reward offered in grocery store robbery

RENO — A $1,500 reward is being offered for information on the armed robbery of a Save Mart location in Reno Thursday.

At about 9 p.m. Thursday, a white male suspect, armed with a crowbar, approached the elderly slot clerk inside the Save Mart located at 4995 Kietzke Lane in Reno. The suspect demanded and obtained an undisclosed amount of cash from the clerk. He fled out the north doors of the business. 

The suspect is described as white adult male in his 40s, 6-feet-tall, 170- to 180-pounds, with brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black mask covering his face and all black clothing carrying a black and yellow crowbar.
