RENO — Artown’s Monday Night Family Series performers from the “Let’s Go Science” show will stop by the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows at 2680 E. Ninth St. on Monday morning for a sneak peak at the science-infused show. At least 200 children are expected to attend.

The wacky and talented Professor Smart and Dr. Knowitall join forces for an educational, entertaining, exciting and experiential extravaganza. Professor Smart shrinks his head, has toilet paper flying, juggles and has peoples’ hair standing on end all while demonstrating principles of physics. Researcher and comedic sidekick Dr. Knowitall keeps the facts straight in this science-filled show. During the Let’s Go Science Show you and your kids learn science concepts through impressive and memorable demonstrations. They will learn about air pressure, figure out flight, see awesome optical illusions, be shocked by static electricity, see experiments with falling masses, grasp gyroscopic properties and get a handle on the scientific method.

Full performance is at the final 2012 Artown Monday Night Family Series and Family Festival at 7 p.m. in Wingfield Park. Admission is free.
