Reno Street Food returns to Reno park

RENO — A gourmet street food rally and Family Night, sponsored by Reno Street Food, will be held tonight from 5 to 9 p.m. at Idlewild Park in Reno.

Fixtures at the event have been MJ BBQ Alabama Style and Dish Truck, Mamasake Truck, Red Truck, Hot and Healthy Crepes, St. Lawrence Pizza, Tahoe Creamery, Lazy Sundae, Full Belly Deli (with their “PIG POPS” and fried Twinkies), Pie Face Pizza Co., and J&J Italian Ice. Beer and wine by Great Basin Brewing.

A family-friendly event, families are encouraged to bring children to the event.  Available will be face painting, a puppeteer and the train stays open late.

A musical guest will be Jason King. The charity of the week is JDRF of Northern Nevada.

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to better enjoy the evening. Mark your calendars for July 27; Aug. 17, 24, and 31; and Sept. 14 and 28 for additional events.
