River path getting repairs this week

SPARKS — Work began Monday on a small portion of the bike/walking trail along the Truckee River through Sparks. The trail under the Rock Boulevard bridge will be closed for approximately 10 days to replace the pavement.

Following this work, the portion of the path under the McCarran Boulevard Bridge will be closed for about 10 days.

Pedestrians and bicyclists are urged to exercise caution during this time.
