RENO — Phyllis Freyer, Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Renown Health received the Thomas C. Wilson award from the Advertising Association of Northern Nevada earlier this week.
The award is given for professional contributions made to the advertising field; furthering the industry’s standards, creative excellence and responsibility in areas of social concern; demonstrating lifetime excellence in advertising, coupled with strong community involvement.
As vice president for Marketing and Communications, Freyer is responsible for all communications and media relations, the Renown Health Foundation, Renown’s Wellness Resource Center and the marketing and advertising for the health network. She also serves on the Board for the Nevada Women’s Fund and is president-elect for Western Industrial Nevada.
In her free time, Freyer enjoys exploring the Reno-Tahoe area with her husband and her two children.
