RENO — KPS3 Marketing, a full-service marketing and digital communications firm, received Best in Web & Digital Design at the Reno-Tahoe American Marketing Association (AMA) Ace Awards on June 21. KPS3 won the award for the agency’s newly redesigned website at www.kp3.com.

The new site uses Drupal as its content management system (CMS) and was built using HMTL5, CSS3 and JQuery. The redesigned KP3.com includes improved navigation and site organization as well as a cleaner design. The goal of the new KPS3 website was not only to redesign the site, but end future redesigns — leaving room to grow and continually improve the website without a major design overhaul. KPS3’s strategy was to move away from the conventional redesign and adopt the idea of continually enhancing the experience of the site. Since launch, the agency’s site has seen a 22 percent increase in traffic.

The Reno-Tahoe AMA Ace Awards recognizes excellence in the northern Nevada marketing community. Ace Awards nominations were based on community feedback and nominees include individuals, businesses, and agencies that have stood out as best-in-class examples of marketing during the past year within 10 different categories. All nominees are submitted to the Reno-Tahoe AMA’s sister chapter for final judging before the awards ceremony.
