RENO — A 24-year-old man from Reno has been charged with three counts of commercial burglary and three counts of grand larceny in connection with a recent rash of commercial burglaries in Reno and Sparks.
Prince Monaco was taken into custody on May 22 by law enforcement who were called to a business alarm at the AT&T store at 10190 N. McCarran Blvd. Officers responded and found Monaco walking from the area, and eventually getting into a vehicle. He was stopped, and officers later located items that linked him to more than one previous commercial burglary. Officers also located evidence that linked him to the burglary at the AT&T store. The investigation is currently ongoing, and more charges are expected.
Reno police released the following list of items recovered:
• Lap top computers
• Plastic tip jar with “tips” written on the lid
• “Innova” diagnostic tool ABS/SRS
• “Swann” surveillance camera
• “FinePix” digital camera model #S9100
• Two cash drawers
• One metal drop safe
• Wells Fargo bank bag
• Honeywell key safe
