RENO — After almost two years presenting live theater, films, theater education and improv across from City Hall in downtown Reno, Good Luck Macbeth Theatre Company has secured a new home at 713 S. Virginia St. The group will open its September show, Eugene O’Neill’s “A Moon For The Misbegotten,” in the new space on the corner of S. Virginia and St. Lawrence Street currently being renovated.

The new theater will bring entertainment to the neighborhood complimenting the many new restaurants, bars and retail shops filling midtown.

A new fundraising campaign called “The Baker’s Dozen” is underway to raise money for the new design and move. People are asked to give any tax-deductible amount with the number 13 in it. At two levels — $1,300 and $130 — donors will receive benefits including recognition in the new space, season tickets and a special soft-opening party. For more information, visit or call 322-3716.
