Bonita Jessica German, 21, was pronounced dead after she crashed at about 7:30 p.m. about a quarter-mile west of Vista Knoll. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found German and her 14-year-old sister still in the vehicle. The sister was taken to a local hospital where she is reported to be in stable condition. It had been raining and hailing in the area of the crash shortly before but the cause of the accident remains unknown, authorities said, including any factors weather might have played.
