RENO — Gloria Chua, business service representative for Nevada Job Connect, will be the speaker at the Washoe Zephyrs Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) networking meeting on May 15 at the Claim Jumper Restaurant at 4905 S. Virginia St.
Nevada Job Connect centers are located throughout Nevada to assist job seekers and businesses with personalized attention and services that include job listings, resume preparation, job placement, work registration, labor market information, career information and guidance, assessment, information about education and training opportunities, unemployment information insurance information, referrals to other partner agency services and other services.
Non-members are welcome to attend, but must make a reservation. The Washoe Zephyrs Chapter of ABWA represents the Northern Nevada area and meets the third Tuesday of each month. On May 23, a luncheon of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA), Reno-Tahoe Express Network chapter will feature Kelly Smith presenting, “The 11 Essentials to Marketing Your Business Online.”
