SPARKS — In celebration of its employees raising $1 million in donations for United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra (UWNNS) over the past 14 years during workplace campaigns, John Ascuaga’s Nugget will give employees “One in a Million” themed T-shirts to wear during an employee photo op on Friday commemorating this achievement. JA Nugget employees will also be able to wear the shirt during their work shifts throughout the day. The Ascuaga family have been longtime supporters of UWNNS and Stephen Ascuaga currently serves as a member of the UWNNS Resource UWNNS is a foundation that nurtures and supports healthy lives is made up of three, interconnected “building blocks”: education, financial stability and health.
