RENO — Secret Witness is offering a $1,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects wanted in connection with armed robbery of the Kentucky Fried Chicken store 5175 Mae Anne Blvd. in Reno on Friday night.

Police are looking for three Hispanic men believed to be responsible for the robbery. At 10:17 p.m., Reno officers responded to the restaurant, where they learned that an employee was taking the garbage out in the back when one suspect entered the business through the open door and another two suspects stood outside as lookouts. The suspect went inside the store, produced a handgun and demanded another employee give him money from the cash register. The suspects fled with an undetermined amount of money northbound towards the Walmart store. Officers were unable to identify the suspects, but did discover that they fled in a white, full-size, late 1980s pickup (possibly a Ford) with a camper shell.

All three suspects are believed to be between 25 and 30 years old and around 5-feet 7-inches to 5-feet 9-inches tall weighing about 180 pounds. One was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a black bandana over his face; another wore a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black bandana over his face; and the third a grey jacket, blue jeans and black shoes.

Anyone who has information relating to this crime or the suspects is asked to contact the Reno Police Department at 334-2115, or Secret Witness at 322-4900, report online at www.secretwitness.com or text the tip to 847411 (TIP 411) keyword “SW.”
